can’t think, too flurried MMMMM flurry

Published August 13, 2012 by Lynda Christine Rodriguez

I’m antsy and other bugs today.  My internet connection (all shake your fists to the sky and scream curses to Charter) has been spotty so everything has been full of nut-punchy hurry up and wait goodness.  I’m trying not to get overly invested in any project right now because I start Boot Camp this evening.

I am really, really, excited about this

four weeks five days a week an hour per session.  I think I can do it.  The Kid doesn’t think I can do it.  That, of course, just guarantees that I will do it.

I don’t understand how someone can doubt the temerity of a person who had a brain hemorrhage but proceeded to stay on stage well into the second act.

Oh well. I am very excited and I can’t really focus on anything else

I am also starting a vlog via wordpress so that I can accurately document how thoroughly my ass will be kicked.

So the dishes lost

And my webpage is still down (long story, the highlights are Microsoft Office live changed to a pay service and we are having Hostgator issues.)

So anyway, I have my first eBook is out so if you want to read five short stories plus the first chapter of my novel,

Now that I’ve shamelessly promoted myself, I want to share what I’ve been doing lately.

It has been a year since I started freelance writing, and it’s been pretty good.  I know what kind of writing I want to do, and guess what, it’s not researching and writing articles on horse care.

I could share some of the soul scarring information I discovered, but I am actively trying to remove that information out from my brain.  If you really want to know how you should clean and care for your ungelded horses parts, kindly go look it up for yourself.

If you are reading this, you probably have a computer and internet access, and if by some chance some kind soul has printed out a few of my blogs because they find me endlessly fascinating and they want you to experience me for yourself you  should just turn to them and say, ” Thank you, wise friend, but you should really go to and buy this book.  Smashwords is awesome and this book can be read on a wide variety of eRebaders.”

In a nutshell, while I do love knowledge, in fact I yearn for it, I think my time is better spent pursuing projects in the Creative Writing world.  Somehow the thrill of writing  an article on bedbugs for which I will be paid two, count ’em two dollars has worn off.

The project that is paying me right now involves Reading, Reviewing and Editing short stories for a new Erotica Ebook publisher.

Yes, I am RRE-ing adult content. It’s a lot less ooky than the horse care business.

I am learning a lot about the  writing game.

So Ebook is out, I’m RRE-ing for cash, and  I am working on  fantasy Erotica for Elle to publish sometime in the fall.

Action packed.

I’ll do it tomorrow, I promise

Today I uploaded my first Ebook on Smashwords.  One foot in the door and other short stories by Lynda Rodriguez

. That was fun and exciting and I hope people love it and want to buy it because it’s such a bargain, Five, FIVE short stories and a bonus,  Chapter one of my novel! It’s a bargain at $2.99.

Please, please check it out and review it and recommend it to all of your friends.

I spent the rest of the day editing and reviewing short stories (not my own, someone is paying me to do it.) My brain is tired. I have lots of thoughts to share, and a kitchen to clean.  I promise to do at least one of these tomorrow.

If I’m never heard from again, it’s because this gigundus fly that’s buzzing around my office carried me away.  Seriously, the thing is actually creating a breeze as it flies by
