Like pushing a mule uphill, but the view is worse

I’m kind of having a hard time right now keeping up with the writing. It’s not that I have writer’s block, or writer’s balk, both of which I have been known to have. I do have some spare tidbits of time here and there, so I could be at least taking notes for future projects but I just haven’t.

As per normal for the JIT (That would be Job-In-Training) my life is in a constant shift away from center and the center changes daily. I am happy with my current job, but I will only be there for about six more weeks, so I ‘m trying to cut corners wherever I can so that I can have some kind of savings because I will more than likely be single by the end of this summer. I will also need to have a full-time job that comes with benefits by the end of the summer, so to that end, I am finishing up my alternative certification. This involves me taking the on-line training provided by the organization through which I am being certified. I also have to study for the tests. Now the tests won ‘t even be offered until the end of the summer, so I do have time to study.  But I also need to look for employment. I know that I can be hired even if I’m still in process. It’s a big confusing mess and makes me want to spend all of my at-home time curled up in a fetal position watching Psych on the Netflix.

I am toying with the idea of testing out my digital recorder (I bought it so I can record myself reading the heap of flashcards I got to prepare for the English/Language Arts Test and for the Librarian/Media Specialist Test. )

I’m wondering if it would be a good idea to carry this thing around tomorrow and the next day to just capture what crazy falls out of my head.

HMMM.

Good idea for future writing. Bad idea for commitment hearing.
